This new masonry apartment building with 24 single bedroom units takes the place of an underutilized municipal parking lot and two blighted structures. The steep sloped site provides picturesque views in several directions, and the building was sited to maximize this amenity. The main entry was placed at the upper end of the site adjacent to the new parking lot and the old railroad right-of-way, which is to be developed into a linear park in the near future. The 612 sf units provide a home-like atmosphere and include an open kitchen with seating area, clad wood windows, and French doors leading to the spacious private balconies.
