The University of Pittsburgh’s premiere card and gift shop was named after the first two woman to enter the Western University of Pennsylvania, sisters Maggie and Stella Stein. The store moved to the 5th Avenue location at the base of Amos Hall which provided an ideal location for window shopping and pedestrian traffic.  RSH Architects participated in the re-imaging of the store, provided interior design and assisted in furniture selection.  Project included a dumb-waiter installed within an abandoned elevator shaft to provide access to the storeroom in the basement directly below the store.
